Heard from a few people in the Dewitt area that a mountain lion was seen a week or so ago just south of town by the highway making off with a farmers goat. Just seeing if anyone else heard the same thing. Wouldn't suprise me, some guys goose hunting a field in that area saw one run across the corn field one day, with the creek and deep river bottoms in the area woudl make a nice place for hunting.
And yes these people know the difference between a lab and a Mountian lion - especially one carrying a goat.
