GPUs are in the wrong order

Greetings,

I stumbled across a weird "problem" - I am using the term "Problem" lightly, as I don't think it creates any performance issues (Have not noticed any), it is more of a annoyance when folding, setting up monitors etc.

My 4 GTX 680s are listed in the wrong order in every single monitor program I tried (Including Nvidia Control Panel).

Where they should be listed as:

GPU1
GPU2
GPU3
GPU4

As they are positioned on the motherboard, from top to bottom.

They are positioned (According to the monitor programs and Nvidia Control Panel):

GPU3
GPU2
GPU1
GPU4

So if I attach a monitor to the top GPU - It will say that I attached it to GPU 3, and not GPU1.

I tried with 3 way SLI aswell, same problem.

Been through the BIOS a hundred times, the only thing GPU related is the "First initiated" and I been through all the posibilities on that one (PCI-E 1 / 2 / 3 / 4), no change what-so-ever.

Have installed Windows 7 and 8 about 13 times the last month - The problem is always the same.

Googled it, and found a FEW cases similar (2 or 3), but no answer to this - All the motherboards were of different brands and type.
