Flareon
Flareon is a male fire-element alicorn pony and is the main protagonist of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Remix which a different version of the regular Friendship is Magic. Flareon represents the element of power. Flareon is a far-off descendant of Nova who was the leader of the elemental warriors who sealed Alexei 1000 years ago. Flareon was originally a human that died in the real world and was found by Twilight who said she found him lying unconsious on the ground. After meeting Princess Celestia he later finds out that he is the "choosen one" by an ancient prophecy that says he is the one destined to defeat Alexei once and for all. He then marries Twilight due to a part of the prophecy saying that the "choosen one" must choose a partner who will in part bear the new future princess who will take over after Princess Celestia. In season 2 Flareon constantly has to battle shadows that Alexei sends that try and destroy Ponyville. He lives at the Golden Oaks Library along with Twilight and her assisstant, Spike, and her pet Owlowiscious. He and Twilight have a daughter, Solana, who is introducued in the season 2 episode "The birth of the new princess." He later dies due to sacrificing himself to defeat Alexei in the season 2 finale "The tragic cost of victory." He is later revivied by "The Creator" in the season 3 opening "The return of Flareon."
Flareon's Powers and Abilities
Fire Element Magic
Flareon can create fire from his horn which can be shot in big single shots and small rapid-fire shots. Flareon can also create a small light from his horn which can be used to navigate through the dark. Flareon can also heat up popcorn very easily as shown in the episode "Beauty and the Cowgirl" in which Flareon heats up popcorn and then eats it while watching Rarity and Applejack argue.
The Fire Tornado and Fire Hurricane
Flareon is able to create a miniture fire tornado by flying from the ground and going upwards in a circle at high speed and then kicking it towards a single enemy. In Flame God mode the Fire Tornado is upgraded to a more power form, the Fire Hurricane, which is both wider, delievers more damage, and can hit multiple ememies.
The Fire Shuriken
Flareon is able to creat a fireball above his horn and rotate it at high speed to create blades around it in which it can be thrown and defeat multiple enemies at one time. In the episode "The Date Disaster" Twilight gets kidnapped during her date with Flareon. Flareon is forced to use the Fire Shuriken to defeat the group of shadows at the same time to prohibit them from regenerating. In Flame God mode, he can create the Fire Shuriken in less time, throw it faster, becomes wider, and delievers more damage. Flareon used this upgraded Fire Shuriken on Alexei in the season 2 finale "The Tragic Cost of Victoy."
The Supernova Cannon
Flareon can prefom the Supernova Cannon, which is similar to Raindbow Dash's Sonic Rainboom. In the episode "The Sonic Rainboom" Flareon is the last to prefom in the Young Flyers Competition. After seeing the Sonic Rainboom, Flareon decides to attempt to do the Sonic Rainboom, but in a different way. After going through the course, he flies high into the sky, and then begins his decent at full speed. Just before he breaks the sound barrier, he cloaks himself in fire. After he breaks the sound barrier, instead of a rainbow appering behind him, a small miniture sun appears and a second later it explodes and showers the entire arena with small white snowflake stars. In the end, Flareon's Supernova Cannon places 2nd to Rainbow Dash's Sonic Rainboom.
The Supernova Rainbow Cannon
In the episode "The Royal Wedding" Flareon and Rainbow Dash argue as to who will prefom thier move at the wedding of Shinning Armor and Cadence. In the end, neither can come to an agreement. Just as hope seems lost, Applejack says if there was a way they could both prefom thier moves at the same time. Hit with an idea, Flareon draws up a plan. It would be possible for Flareon and Rainbow Dash to prefom both of thier moves together, but the catch is that they would have to fly upwards and break the sound barrier at the same exact time. Flareon's plan works to perfection. After they both break the sound barrier, a small rainbow star appears in the sky, and after it explodes, it showers the wedding area with small rainbow snowflake stars.
The Big Bang Cannon
This move can only be done in Flame God mode. It is similiar to the Supernova Cannon, but the effects of the Big Bang Cannon are bigger. Instead one miniture sun appearing and exploding, a minture sun appears and then explodes, but after it does different planet-shaped stars appear one after another exploding like fireworks and showering the area with white snowflake stars. Flareon first preforms this move as an offensive attack instead of just for show to defeat Alexei in the season 2 finale "The tragic cost of victory."
Flame God mode
Flareon's most powerful ability. In Flame God mode, Flareon can move and fly faster, sustain more damage, and his fire elemental attacks become stronger. Flareon obtains and uses Flame God mode to defeat the Shadow Dinosaur Trio that attack Ponyville in the season 2 episode "The flame god awakens."
Flareon's Skills
Normal Magic
At first Flareon doesn't know any magic, but he begans to learn different types of magic from both Twilight and the books he reads. Flareon is able to teleport, levitate and move objects, change objects into different forms, combine objects, etc. Flareon soon becomes a master of magic, the same level as Twilight Organization
Flareon possesses an unique talent for organizing similar to Twilight. In the season 1 episode "Winter Warp Up" he helps Twilight organize all the groups and even participates in the group with Rainbow Dash and in turn helps everyone finish on schedule for the first time in years. In some instances, Flareon proves to be more organized than Twilight, in which he knows the mostly the location of every book in thier library and it able to organize in some instances in a slightly better fashion than Twilight.
Playing the guitar
Flareon is able to play the guitar very skillfully. In the season 1 episode "When Cuteness Attacks", the town is overun by cute bug-like creatures. Flareon recently read in a book that music is the only way to deal with the creatures and get them out of the town. After asking Spike if they had any musical intrasments, he finds an old guitar in one of the closets in the thier house. After he fixes up the guitar he hurries outside and happens to meets up with Pinkie Pie. Soon after Twilight and the others along with Princess Celestia hear the sound of a guitar playing. They see Pinkie Pie pulling a wagon with with Flareon on top of it with a small speaker to the side of him leading the creatures out of town. The song Flareon plays is a guitar solo from the song "Holy Diver."
As a human, Flareon was a master at the guitar, but never preformed in front of a live audience, but in the season 2 episode "I'm in the band" Flareon for the first time plays in front of everyone in town, including the biggest and most famous band known, "The Silver Hooves." After playing 3 songs, one which he dedicated to Twilight, "I'm a Believer", the Silver Hooves ask Flareon to join their band. After they travel around together, Flareon becomes discouraged and frustrated from the constand grind of playing concert after concert and also how he is away from all his friends constantly, so it the end Flareon quits the band and returns home.
Personality
Socialbility
In the beginning of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Remix, Flareon distances himself from everyone else because he doesn't feel he natrually belongs. The world is very different from the real world, and it takes him a long time to adjust. In the beginning he feels that mostly everyone around him is an idiot and wishes he cold return back to his normal life. At first the only person that he feels confortable around it Twilight, but in time he is able to fit in and build relationships with the other and become confortable around the citizens around town.
Anxiety
In the beginning, Flareon is very fearful of everyone around him, thinking that they see him only for the "choosen one" and nothing else. Because of how he acts and talks, most of the ponies in town are very confused because they have never seen anyone like him before. At first he knows very little of their culture and language prompting Twilight to sometimes apologize for his behavior. In the season 2 opening "The return of Alexei", Discords uses the fear in Flareon's heart that everyone thinks of him a sort of a freak who doesn't truely belong and that he is only the "choosen one" to them and once he defeats Alexei, they wouldn't need him around anymore.
Discords tricks Flareon in to unlocking the seal on Alexei's statue instead of unlocking the seal to a portal that would send Flareon back to his old life back in the real world.
Temperance
Flareon is mostly calm, cool, rational, and even-tempered similar to Twilight. In some instances his temperance is tested. During the times Pinkie Pie starts singing, Flareon needs to put on earmuffs to block out her singing. In one instance, he losses his earmuffs, and when she starts singing it prompts Flareon to almost go crazy to the point he yells out "Pinkie Pie, stop your obnoxious singing!!!!!!" Flareon has a different sense of humor than the others and sometimes questions what is so funny and becomes agitated when he deson't recieve a straight answer. In the episodes "Too many clones", Flareon becomes overwhelmed to the point of insanity when trying to gather the out-of-control Flareon clones without letting Twilight and the others finding out.
The Choosen One
Even though Flareon is the "choosen one" destined to defeat Alexei, he somtimes lets that title go to his head. In some instances when he tries to fix his mistakes or gets into difficult situations, he tries to shrug them off promting that he is the "choosen one" and that he doesn't need any help. In the season 2 opening, "The return of Alexei", Discord uses his magic to confuse and infect Twilight and other others, and instead of helping everyone, Flareon chases after Discord thinking that he could stop him by himself. That costly mistake prompts Discord to infect Flareon with his magic and in turns uses Flareon to unlock the seal on Alexei's statue.
The Battle with Alexei
In the season 2 finale "The tragic cost of victory" Flareon finally battles against Alexei. Princess Celestia's royal gaurds along with Shinning Armor battle Alexei's army of shadow dragons. Twilight and the others end up battling Alexei's right hand man Discord. Flareon in Flame God mode uses every move at his dispossal to try and defeat Alexei, but in the end it is not enough as Alexei hits Flareon with his Shadow Hyper Beam which sends Flareon crashing into the ground. Princess Celestia then intervenes and unleashes her ultimate attack the Enternal Heaven Vortex Beam on Alexei. Alexei takes serious damage from the attack, but before she can deliever another one Alexei grabs hold of her and completely drains her power and is healed of all damage he sustained so far. As Princess Celestia is thrown to the ground, Flareon almost gives up hope as to whether it is possible to defeat Alexei. After Twilight and the other finish off Discord they find Flareon who looks like he has given up. Twilight ends up giving a speech to Flareon saying that everyone believes in him and they know that he isn't the type of person to give up in a situation like this. Flareon then figures out a plan to defeat Alexei. The only way to defeat Alexei is if Flareon could do the Supernova Cannon inside Alexei's mouth while Alexei is using his Shadow Hyper Beam and the mixture of those 2 moves would be enough to cause a chain reaction inside of Alexei. But the downside would be that Flareon wouldn't survive the explosion. At first Twilight and Solana are completly against the idea, but Flareon is able to convince them that this was his destiny and he wants everyone to be safe and finally live in peace. Flareon then goes into Flame God mode and flies directly at Alexei at full speed. Alexei uses his Shadow Hyper Beam on Flareon, but Flareon is able to sustain his path and when he reaches the inside of Alexei's mouth he unleashes the Supernova cannon, which in Flame God mode, it becomes a more powerful version, the Big Bang Cannon. Alexei's body begans to break down due to the overwhelming reaction to the 2 moves, and in almost no time Alexei explodes and due to the effect of Big Bang Cannon, different planet-shaped stars one after another explode like fireworks in the sky and shower the entire town with small white snowflake stars.
Accidents and Mishaps
Flareon inenvertally is pulled into the apple dunking game at Pinkie Pie's party when an octopus grabs him and pulls him into the water while he tries to fight it off while yelling for help while everyone else is completely oblivious and this later happens a 2nd time in another party they threw for Pinkie Pie at the end of the season 1 episode "Party of one." Flareon can't stand when PinkiePie sings because it gives him a major headache so at most times he can be seen wearing earmuffs to block out the noise of her singing and can been seen reading a book during that time. Flareon and the others swap bodies in the season 2 episode "A walk in my hooves" in which Flareon spends a day in Applejack's body. Flareon is possessed by a werehog and eats almost all the food in Ponyville in the season 2 episode "Unneeded Possession." In the season 1 episode "It must be the season of the vudoo witch" Flareon experinces a gender change which prompts Spike to give him the nickname "Flarena." In the season 3 episode "Too many clones" Flareon tries to clone himself to get out of the growing list of chores he was given and it ends up backfiring on him as the Flareon clones go out of control and cause too much mischief for Flareon to handle by himself. Flareon disguises himself a female alicron with the fake name Midnight to sneak in to the girls' sleepover party in the season 3 episode "Slumber Party Crasher." During the time when Flareon and others stay the night at an old house that was once owned by Raritiy's uncle who recently passed away, supernatrual events start to take place, and one after another everyone starts to vanish, which prompts Flareon to constanlty blame the butler and saying "All right give it up, we know it's you!" in the season 3 episode "The night at a haunted house."
