This didn’t make our list of 2013′s most anticipated movies, but the novelty of two cast members in roles considerably different from their track records makes this vice-fest worth a mention. Written and directed by Harmony Korine, the writer of the controversial NC-17 movie Kids, dramedy Spring Breakers features James Franco as a rapper (complete with dreadlocks and a dental grill) and Selena Gomez as one of four barely legal BFFs that run into trouble in between college semesters.
Also starring Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson, Rachel Korine, and Gucci Mane, Spring Breakers is set for limited release in New York and Los Angeles on March 11, 2013, and wide release on March 22, 2013. Check out the red band and green band trailers below.
